In a very recent review published in September 2020 in Molecules, Tronina et al. provided insight into the unusual hop phytoestrogens and showed numerous health benefits associated with their wide spectrum of biological activities including estrogenic, anticancer, neuropreventive, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, which were intensively studied. They offered potential applications of these compounds such as, as an alternative to hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
