In a 2007, single blind protocol, researchers investigated the protective effects of K-Mag aspartate against oxidative stress status and lipid oxidative damage in patients with angina and arrhythmia due to coronary artery disease, its therapeutic effect on arrhythmia and its possible mechanism. K-Mag aspartate can strikingly improve oxidative stress status and decrease lipid oxidative damage in patients with coronary heart disease, and the frequent premature beats were also significantly reduced by K-Mag aspartate.
